Sandro

Sandro has been photographing people for over thirty years. He became interested in photography at the age of sixteen upon seeing the work of Irving Penn and has since devoted his time to making expressive images. This collection is titled "Cuban Elders" and Sandro used individuals who have been under Castro for over 50 years. Its of no doubt that Sandro is a great B/W photographer although he make digital color prints in his recent work. These pictures speaks a thousand word  from a glace, They are very high in contrast and the wrinkles on all of their faces ties them together as a piece.
